I recently signed up for yet another subscription box! This time, the company is Daily Look. Here’s a quick run down: Daily Look’s Elite Box is a subscription that matches you with a personal stylist. You take a quick style quiz to let them know some of the items you need, and the stylist chooses 7-10 items for you on a monthly (or less, if you want) basis. The stylist also sends notes on different ways to wear the pieces.
I personally like this subscription option more than Stitch Fix, because they send you an email with a preview of the items before they actually ship the box. This way, you can preemptively tell them if you don’t like any of the pieces, and your stylist will swap it out for a different item.
The styling fee is $40, but that ends up going toward any of the items you decide to keep. Returning the unwanted items is a breeze. You put the clothes you want to send back in the enclosed return bag, pop on the enclosed return label, and drop it off at a USPS location (or schedule a pick up from your home).
This is the perfect subscription for someone who doesn’t really like spending time out shopping, or someone who wants to try new modern pieces but doesn’t really know where to start. The brands and pieces they send are high quality and a great mixture of modern and timeless styles.

This time I decided not to ask for anything specific. I wanted to see how much the style quiz would help get a feel for my personal style. I think they nailed it and the sizing was perfect!
1. Super comfy ribbed open back black sweater | KEPT
2. Silver blouse
3. Cross back camel color jacket
4. Black pants (feel like leggings, wear like trousers) | KEPT
5. Long black cardigan
6. Scalloped hem leather button up skirt
7. Black dress | KEPT!
THE KEEPS: I am obsessed with the new pants. They honestly do feel like leggings, but they can be dressed up and dressed down, and they are a very flattering fabric. The black sweater was a no-brainer for me. I can never have enough sweaters. I will be able to layer it in the winter months or wear it with a cute brallette, with an exposed back, once it starts warming up. The dress is definitely something I would choose out shopping. You can casually wear it by itself with flats, or layer it up and add a belt & heels to make it look more polished.
THE RETURNS: I loved the camel jacket. The back was super fun, but the fit was oversized and I am not used to wearing things quite that big. The scalloped skirt was adorable but I already own one that is almost identical to it! The silver blouse was a great fit, but I wasn’t in love with the purple-y hue. The cardigan was so soft and great quality but it was crazy long on me. I think it would look great on someone taller.
PRICING: During the style quiz you can let the stylist know about how much you like to spend on certain pieces. For me, they stayed right at the amount I was comfortable with. They didn’t send me any outrageously priced items. After the three item discount (they give you 50% off one item if you keep 3 or more pieces) and $40 styling fee were subtracted, the items I kept ended up costing right at $200. I thought that was reasonable, and pretty similar to what I would have spent if I had hunted for these items myself.
