We got married in an amazing event space in the Crossroads District in downtown Kansas City.
We had a mixture of homemade photobooth props (floral crowns, ties, glasses, etc…) as well as some store-bought props. I made the tassel garland to add interest to the backdrop. You can find a tutorial on that here.
The floral arrangements and vase/greenery/floating candle combo were done by Clover and Honey Floral.
The cakes were by Bloom Bakery in City Market. We had tiramisu and a vanilla bean berry filled buttercream cake.
I made this backdrop for the “altar” area. It was a large branch at the top with a variety of string lengths hanging from the branch with these little light airy tulle pieces hanging from the strings. It turned out pretty awesome. Bonus: the kids loved playing with it after the ceremony.
